Board Layout Modifications

This topic is intended to inform users of modifications in layout made to the board as it develops and evolves. As the board gets bigger with (hopefully) more members and topic areas, the Administration/Moderation team may deem it necessary to alter/move topics around etc in order to make use of the board an easy and enjoyable experience for all. We may also add functionality.

When we do this, announcement will be made here. Think of this as a change control document. It is here to help.

I Have today added a "Bibliography and Recommended Reading List" to the books and reference section.
This has two subforums:

1 The Bibliography itself (Read only)
This is alphabetic, by topic area, eg books relatiung to food will be under "F", Punishment under "P". This is also read only. If you have suggestions for the bibliography, please post them in the suggestions topic (see below)


2 Your suggestions for the list
Posts can be made here by members who feel they have a book to recommend for the Bibliography. A member of the Admin/Moderation team will review and add to the Bibliography if appropriate.

A List of books has been added to the Bibliography under "P" for Prison ships and hulks.

A New forum "Upcoming events" has been added to enable museums/heritage organisations to keep up up to date with their activities. An entry has been made to the Bibliography under "F" for food and "V" for Victualling.
